I began my studies in Oriental Medicine in 1993 at the London College of Oriental Massage, where I studied Thai Massage. I followed this with a month of training in Chiang Mai, Thailand. I went on to train in Traditional Chinese Medicine at the Academy of Oriental Medicine in Austin, Texas and at the College of Integrated Chinese Medicine in Reading, Berks, where I graduated in acupuncture in 2003. In 2008, I qualified in Chinese Herbal Medicine, which is a wonderful adjunct to acupuncture. Traditional Asian Medicines offer effective natural methods for restoring health, treating both symptoms and underlying causes of disease. They can support us in extracting wisdom from our problems and inspire us to awaken possibilities for change and growth. I am a lecturer and clinical supervisor at the London College of Traditional Acupuncture. I also practice from Greenwich, London as well as from home in Oxford. I am particularly interested in the clinical application of the Chinese medical classical texts, which provide the fundamental orientation of Chinese medicine practice. To that end I am engaged in ongoing training in classical approaches to Chinese Medicine. I am a member of the British Acupuncture Council and Register of Chinese Herbal Medicine and am bound to abide by their codes of ethics and safe practice and am fully insured.
